The Queen Elizabeth Hospital – Healthcare Furniture Installation
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital furniture supply and installation
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) is an acute and sub-acute care teaching hospital that services a population of more than 250,000 residents in Adelaide’s western suburbs. It provides care for inpatient, outpatient, emergency, mental health and rehabilitation patients.
The South Australia State Government continues to invest towards redeveloping the hospital, including the new Kangkanthi building at TQEH that is set to provide the community with better access to high-quality healthcare services in a modern hospital setting. From admission through to discharge, every section has been considered in the design to improve patient wellbeing and consumer experience. The building will support delivery of world-class healthcare with a functional layout, modern technology and equipment, and all accompanying amenities. The Kangkanthi building is also the first major, public healthcare building in Australia to be all-electric, with no natural gas used within the building.
IntraSpace worked closely with Built Environs in providing non-clinical items to fit-out the new workstations and offices in the Kangkanthi building. Products include Mobile Pedestal Units, Tambour Door Cabinets, Wire Basket Trolleys and Mobile Lectern.
